Car is a 70 with a 93 454 out of a chevy ss pickup truck. I got my new detent cable installed and after reading all the threads on adjusting it i took the throttle to wot and on my detent you pus down on the d shaped chrome button to open the adjusting ribbed stem so i did that the wot took the cable out to the end of travel of the throttle just fine.
